What's Next?

January 1st marked the release of my latest novel, Second Chances. A project that was eighteen months in the making has now become reality.
For the majority of 2011 I was focused upon one project, and that was Bullied, an anthology of fictional stories dealing with the issue of teen bullying. It was the only book that I published during the entire year, and I've donated all royalties from this book to anti-bullying charities. The book is out there, and I hope it does continue to reach people, particularly vulnerable GLBT teens.
Moving forward, I have a new series of novellas entitled The Men's Room. Book One is called Twinsational, and its release date is February 15th. Book Two is already complete and now in the hands of the publisher. Book One is about twin go-go dancers who work at the fictional New Orleans bar, and Book Two is about one of the bartenders. In total, the series should be no less than six books. We'll have to see how well it is received.
I am also planning to self-publish a sequel to Dumb Jock. It will be titled ... drum roll please... Another Dumb Jock. I will initially publish it on Amazon and Smashwords as an ebook and then eventually make it available in print. I do have a plot and am already in the process of writing the story, but I'd like to welcome readers to share their thoughts about book one and let me know if there is anything in particular you'd like included in the sequel. As you may have imagined, rarely does the finished manuscript even resemble the original concept. Often I think I've decided where to go in a story but as I sit down to write it, things change.
So 2012 looks to be a busy year. The Men's Room Series. We Danced. Another Dumb Jock. I have several ideas for stories which I've filed in my electronic notebook. Please just stay tuned... I will first share all the information about my stories here on this blog.
Happy New Year, and happy reading!

Dreamspinner Press will soon be releasing my next full length novel titled We Danced. I have not yet been given a release date. The story is about a Kentucky bar owner named Rex who meets and falls in love with a veterinary student named Josh. Rex is very leery of embarking upon a relationship in his conservative town, especially due to the fact that he has a seven year old son. His little boy, Tyler, is Rex's biological nephew, but Rex adopted him after his mama was killed in an automobile accident. Just when things seem to be going well for the new couple and they become a family, members of the community interfere and threaten their happy home.
